Audition Workshop – May 10 from 6:00pm – 9:00pm

Auditions – May 14 from 9:00am – 2:00pm

Callbacks (if needed) – May 15 from noon – 5:00pm

Rehearsals – June 21 – July 14, 5:00pm – 9:00pm (no rehearsal on July 4th)

Performances – July 15, 16, 22, 23 at 7pm and July 17 at 2pm

Strike - July 24

Open to rising 8th graders – 2022 high school graduates from any county in Northern Virginia. $350 performance fee if cast.

Meet Our Summer 2022 Team

Director - Gregory Stowers

We are thrilled to welcome back Greg Stowers as our director for Summer Stage 2022! Greg previously directed last summer’s Mamma Mia! at Westfield Summer Stage. Greg is currently the Theatre Director at Katherine Johnson Middle School in Fairfax. After graduating cum laude from James Madison University (BA Musical Theatre), Greg was fortunate to perform in national tours and direct professionally all over the country. We are so lucky he’ll be spending the summer with us!

Choreographer - Carolyn Burke

Carolyn Burke is excited for her Westfield debut with High School Musical! Music Director - Jon Blank

Jon Blank is thrilled to be returning for his tenth year with Westfield Summer Stage. A graduate of Westfield himself, he is honored to remain part of the school community as well as FCPS, where he currently works as a band director at multiple elementary schools. Jon graduated summa cum laude from George Mason University, where he earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in music education. He has most recently directed music for Westfield’s productions of Mamma Mia, Les Misérables, Rock of Ages, and Phantom of the Opera.

Stage Manager - Sierra Hoffman

Sierra Hoffman is so excited to be joining the Summer Stage team! She is a proud FCPS alum and current theatre director at Franklin Middle School, where she recently finished directing High School Musical Jr. Sierra works with the City of Fairfax Theatre Company as a teacher and director. She graduated Cum Laude from Ball State University with a degree in Theatre Education. Favorite directing credits include: Puffs, Seussical Jr., and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.
